JOB PURPOSE: This
position provides both credentialing and payroll services for the agency and
all clinical staff. The position reports to finance but works closely with HR
(Human Resources).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Credentialing Duties
- Maintain paneling for all agency clinicians and providers
with all insurance companies, including Managed Care Organizations, Washington
State Health Care Authority, Medicare etc.
- Update and maintain credentials within the
agency electronic health record for all clinical staff, including NPI for all levels of client facing positions.
- Assist all new hires with NPI acquisition,
credential requirements and updates.
- Provider Rosters Updates
to payers as required.
- Assist CFO and organization leadership with agency
facility credentialing compliance.
- Other projects and duties as needed.
Payroll Duties
- Ensure accurate and timely recordkeeping and
confidential payroll data management.
- Utilize agency payroll system to process payroll,
including reviewing/auditing timesheet entry, assisting staff and supervisors
with completing entry and approvals.
- Update deductions, garnishments as needed within
the HRIS, and monitor accuracy.
- Respond to garnishment and unemployment payroll
requests.
- Work within strict deadlines, while maintaining
a high degree of accuracy.
- Assist with projects, audits, reports, and
conduct research as needed.
- Ensure accurate and timely recordkeeping and
confidential payroll data management.
- Work with auditors to provide required payroll
information as needed for annual external financial and 403b audits.
- Work directly with the HR department to maintain
efficient new hire onboarding process including verifying initial benefits and
salary inputs into each respective system.
- Keep informed of changes to employment and
payroll laws and regulations and communicate requirements to leadership.
- Maintains physical security of confidential materials and assigned Agency property.
SECONDARYDUTIESANDRESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains familiarity with and handles client
information in accordance with Federal Regulations (42 CFR, Part 2), the
Revised Code of Washington (RCW 71.05.390 and RCW 71.24), and other applicable
laws pertaining to confidentiality of client and staff information.
- Participates in staff training, staff meetings, and individual supervision as assigned.
- Provides other
support to Human Resources and Finance when necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, LICENSE(S), CERTIFICATION, AND
EXPERIENCE:
Education: High
school graduate or GED
Licensure: N/A
Experience: Experience as a Payroll Coordinator, Accounts Receivable/Accounts
Payable Representative or Payroll Clerk
Additional requirements:
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
and background check
- Must be able to provide vaccination records for MMR,
HepB, Tdap and recent flu shot
PREFERRED ADDITIONAL CREDENTIALS / EXPERIENCE:
Experience: CPP
(Certified Payroll Professional); five years of
experience in a payroll or accounting role
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Essential:
